About

Hi, I'm Kara Allen (she/her),

a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate the emotional terrain of fertility, pregnancy, early parenthood, and relationship transitions. I approach therapy through the lens of cultural relational theory, which means I honor how identity, context, and lived experience shape the ways we connect with ourselves and each other.

My work centers on fostering more authentic communication, healing ruptures, and strengthening resilience—especially during seasons that feel uncertain, tender, or overwhelming. Whether you're facing fertility challenges, adjusting to life as new parents, or feeling distant in your relationship, I offer a grounded, collaborative space where your emotions are welcomed and your story is held with care.
